Job Overview

Position Summary:

Delta Research Inc. is in search of a dedicated Systems Engineer with a strong background in radar signal processing and advanced simulation techniques. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting performance evaluations for various missile systems, utilizing high-fidelity six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) simulations, telemetry data from hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, and live-fire flight test telemetry data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret guidance algorithms through sensor fusion and sophisticated decision-making theories, including Kalman filtering and optimal guidance laws.
  • Demonstrate expertise in radar imaging waveforms and the signal processing of pulsed Doppler seekers.
  • Engage in the modeling and design of interceptor missile systems employing 6-DOF simulations.
  • Possess knowledge of missile embedded software architecture, focusing on design, integration, and implementation.
  • Exhibit proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Ada, or other relevant languages.
  • Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication and project management.
  • Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in radar system analysis, digital signal processing, and modeling and simulation.
  • Possession of a current active Secret Security Clearance is mandatory, or the ability to obtain one.
