About the Role:
Harba Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Chemist to join our team in the development and analysis of pharmaceutical compounds. As a Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical compounds using various techniques such as HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods to ensure accuracy, precision, specificity, and robustness in accordance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA).
- Prepare samples, reagents, and standards for analysis, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain sample integrity.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets, ensuring accurate reporting of results. Utilize statistical tools to assess data quality and consistency.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all experiments, procedures, and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
- Prepare technical reports and summaries as required.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including formulation scientists, process chemists, and quality assurance, to support product development and problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong background in analytical chemistry.
- Familiarity with HPLC, GC, GC-MS, and wet chemistry instrumentation.
- Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred.
