Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of care plans as directed by nursing staff, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and effectively communicating patient care needs. Additional duties encompass:

  • Documenting patient-related tasks accurately.
  • Maintaining professional certifications and up-to-date technical knowledge.
  • Adapting communication and behavior to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
Compliance and Safety

It is essential to remain informed about current federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards. Adherence to Ochsner Health System's Compliance & Privacy Program is mandatory, including the prompt reporting of any unethical or questionable conduct.
