We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Nocturnist Hospitalist to join our team at University of Missouri Healthcare. As a key member of our hospitalist group, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research opportunities.
Responsibilities- Clinical Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients in the hospital setting.
- Teaching and Education: Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows, including bedside teaching and didactic sessions.
- Research and Quality Improvement: Contribute to research projects and quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis and publication of findings.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Participate in departmental and hospital-wide committees, including quality improvement, education, and research committees.
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in hospital medicine, with a strong track record of teaching and research.
- Skills: Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
