Research Assistant (Praedoc) PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our dynamic research team as a PhD candidate.
The successful candidate will work on a project investigating the molecular mechanisms involved in cross-membrane substrate translocation using a combination of experimental and computational techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments using time-resolved electron spin resonance spectroscopy techniques to study the equilibrium dynamics of membrane transport protein complexes.
- Develop and implement kinetic models to interpret experimental observations.
- Collaborate with external groups to integrate experimental and computational data.
- Present findings at national and international scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Assist in teaching Physics lectures and laboratory courses.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Physics, Biophysics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in pulsed electron spin resonance spectroscopy or protein expression and purification.
