Research Assistant (Praedoc) Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our dynamic research team as a PhD candidate.

The successful candidate will work on a project investigating the molecular mechanisms involved in cross-membrane substrate translocation using a combination of experimental and computational techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct experiments using time-resolved electron spin resonance spectroscopy techniques to study the equilibrium dynamics of membrane transport protein complexes.
  • Develop and implement kinetic models to interpret experimental observations.
  • Collaborate with external groups to integrate experimental and computational data.
  • Present findings at national and international scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Assist in teaching Physics lectures and laboratory courses.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Physics, Biophysics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience in pulsed electron spin resonance spectroscopy or protein expression and purification.
