Job Summary

As a Courier/Swing Driver at FedEx, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. You will also be responsible for checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providing related customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Deliver and pick-up packages in a timely and courteous manner
  • Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
  • Provide related customer service functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Six months of courier experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pay: $21.36 per hour
  • 5 days a week, with days and shifts to be determined based on operational needs and route assignments
