We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant Education in Chardon, OH.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will work directly with students to support their physical, sensory, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience working with children.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' overall development and success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reporting.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
Compensation

A competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
