Key Responsibilities

  • Answer the telephone and take orders in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent first and last impressions to guests.
  • Compute bills and operate cash registers to finalize transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness of cashier areas.
  • Control the flow of phone calls to Room Service to maximize guest service.
  • Organize amenity deliveries, prepare trays and carts for delivery, and maintain contact with IRD attendants, supervisors, and the culinary team.
  • Communicate with managers and servers to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of food service, cashiering, or related work experience.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and accurately via telephone.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for prolonged periods, and bend, stoop, and crouch.
  • Knowledge of basic food and wine products.
