Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging/Radiology team at MultiCare Health System. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and therapeutic or interventional Ultrasound procedures
  • Apply independent judgment, initiative, and creative ingenuity towards work solutions

Requirements:

  • Graduate or graduation eligible within 6 months of a formal ultrasound technology training program
  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • If registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employment
  • Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred
  • Current BLS required
