Sicilian Baker

We are looking for a skilled Sicilian Baker to join our team at The Sicilian Butcher Fort Worth. In this role, you will be responsible for baking high-quality pastries that meet our customers' expectations.

• The estimated salary for this position is $38,000 - $48,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience as a baker/cook and be able to follow all sanitation procedures. You will work in a team environment and be able to multitask, prepare ingredients, cook food with various utensils or equipment, and check food while cooking to stir or turn.

You will also be responsible for setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment, ensuring great presentation, keeping a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, and checking the quality of ingredients.

A Day in the Life

• Prepare delicious pastries at The Sicilian Baker.
• Put together baked goods that delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery, and follow recipes closely.
• Move around the kitchen quickly and multitask.
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients (baking, chopping, peeling, vegetables, etc.).
• Cook food with various utensils or equipment.
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
• Ensure great presentation.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Check the quality of ingredients.
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
