**Job Summary**

A highly skilled Software Test Engineer is needed to join our team at Actalent. This temporary role will be responsible for designing, setting up, and maintaining test fixtures to verify software on real hardware.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced automated build, test, and release infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware problems with pre-production equipment
  • Contribute to engineering efforts from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges around developer and engineering productivity and velocity
  • Utilize software and scripts for operations to keep things running and highly available
  • Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Test Lab Support or Operational Hardware Support
  • 2+ years of experience with test automation, debugging, building test tools and testing frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience working with Linux based systems
  • 2+ years of experience in computer networking (admin level)
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field
