The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation therapies department, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing effective treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physical assessment, sound judgment, and psychological sensitivity.
- Collaborate with management to provide departmental oversight, including staffing needs, new employee orientation, staff competencies, and in-services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
