Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Technician to join our team at ProMedica Health System. As a Radiation Therapy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients, positioning them accurately and answering questions to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  • Collaborate with physicists, dosimetrists, nursing staff, and physicians to coordinate treatment plans and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to established department policies and procedures.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patients, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
  • Ohio Radiologic License required.
  • ARRT and CPR certification.
  • 1+ year of experience as a working Radiation Therapy Technician.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
  • Knowledge of Varian equipment/software and EPIC.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, frequent lifting/pushing/pulling of patients, and prolonged standing/walking. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including a mask, non-sterile gloves, eye protection, and a lab coat.
