Gastroenterology LPN

We are seeking an experienced LPN to join our team in providing excellent gastroenterology care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Perform duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
• Contribute to the development of a plan of care and follow through with such plan for selected patients
• Administer medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy
• Maintain the exam rooms and work environment
• Document nursing care and activities
• Assist with patient care and monitor patients during procedures
• Assist with the training of other staff
• Assist departmental assistant with clinical matters

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse
• Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care
• Experience in office clerical activities desirable
• Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care

The salary range for this position is $17.39-$28.40 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
