Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to join our team at New Ulm Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including triage, assessment, and management of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
  • Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
  • Float to other units as needed to support patient care and meet facility needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
  • BCLS and NRP certifications required.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and be on-call as needed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
