Job Title: Orthopedic Spine Medical Surgical Registered Nurse RN
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Spine Medical Surgical team at North Suburban Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and Plan: Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Implement and Evaluate: Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Education and Experience: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable. One to two years acute care/specialty nursing is desirable.
