Job Summary

Our X-Ray Technologists play a vital role in the daily operation of our clinics, partnering with other clinical staff and administrative team members to ensure our patients receive excellent care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform satisfactory radiographic procedures as requested by physicians.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and produce quality radiographs.
  • Lift patients and transport them via wheelchair and stretcher.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and providing explanations of exams.
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by proper patient dressing, positioning, and adjusting controls.
  • Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.
  • Assist with other clinical duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
  • ARRT certified.
  • State of Tennessee Medical Board X-ray Operators License required or eligible to obtain.
  • Prior orthopedic x-ray experience preferred.
