We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Torque Consulting. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' civil and infrastructure construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and infrastructure construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop accurate project scopes and budgets, and present estimates and cost analysis to stakeholders.
- Subcontractor Management: Solicit subcontractor bids, develop strong vendor relationships, and achieve competitive pricing.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor project budgets and provide updated cost estimates as projects progress.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator within the General Contracting (GC) environment.
- Civil Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil construction projects, including roads, utilities, infrastructure, and site development.
- Estimating Skills: Proven ability to work on complex, high-value projects, and experience with estimating software and tools commonly used in construction.
- Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations is a plus.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary ranging from $100,000 - $225,000, depending on experience.
