About the Position

This contract role is an excellent chance for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in Tacoma. As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment that prioritizes student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language plans to support students' communication and language skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Assess and address communication barriers, including articulation, fluency, and voice disorders
  • Provide direct and indirect services, including group therapy and consultative support
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to inform your practice

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid School Speech Language Pathologist credential or license in good standing
  • At least one year of verifiable experience as a School Speech Language Pathologist within the last three years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
