Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Radiation Therapy Adjunct Faculty include:

  1. Delivering baccalaureate-level courses in radiation therapy.
  2. Providing supervision for internships at affiliated healthcare institutions, adhering to established program policies.
  3. Utilizing the course management system (Canvas) and any relevant textbook-specific systems.
  4. Maintaining regular office hours for student engagement.

Classes may be scheduled during the day or evening, and teaching assignments will be determined on a semester-by-semester basis. Course content will encompass areas such as clinical practices, treatment planning, imaging techniques, radiation physics, radiation biology, and safety protocols.


Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • National certification in the field of radiation therapy or an equivalent qualification.
  • A Master’s degree in education, management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience in a classroom setting, along with substantial professional experience in the relevant subject matter.
