About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Law Librarian to join our team in Burlington, Vermont. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing our law library's physical and electronic collections.

Responsibilities
  • Legal Research and Information Retrieval: Assist attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff in conducting legal research using print and electronic resources.
  • Collections Management: Oversee and maintain the law library's physical and digital collections, ensuring they are current and relevant to our needs.
  • Resource Evaluation: Regularly evaluate the collection for accuracy, relevancy, and completeness, ensuring compliance with current legal standards and emerging areas of law.
  • Reference Services: Provide expert guidance to legal professionals navigating legal resources and ensuring they find pertinent and reliable materials.
  • Subscription Management: Oversee subscriptions and licenses for digital legal databases, ensuring access for all team members.
  • Document Organization: Help manage legal documents, case files, and other research materials for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Training and Development: Conduct ongoing training sessions on legal research techniques, resources, and tools for law firm staff or students.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Law Librarian
  • Prior experience working in a law library or related field
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of standard MS Office Suite and legal research search engines
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000 to $97,000 per year. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
