Position Overview:
The University of Minnesota invites applications for a full-time role as an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. This position offers an opportunity to engage in both academic and clinical tracks, tailored to the candidate's qualifications and interests.

Clinical Practice:
The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative team, currently comprising three faculty laryngologists and seven specialized speech pathologists with expertise in voice and upper airway disorders. The team also collaborates closely with speech pathologists focused on swallowing.

Candidates are expected to establish a comprehensive laryngology practice, providing clinical services at the University of Minnesota Medical Center/M Health. Those with a strong interest in developing a clinical research program are particularly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
- Completion of a Laryngology fellowship or equivalent.
- Eligible or certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Minnesota.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification in Minnesota.
- Meet the credentialing and privileges criteria.
- Ability to secure work authorization in the United States, if applicable.
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and collaborative practice.
- Enthusiasm for educating medical students and residents.
- Interest in contributing to the specialty through research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong professionalism and dedication to academic societies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
