We are looking for a talented MEDICAL ASSISTANT II WESTON to join our team As a Medical Assistant Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Your duties will include answering phones, preparing patients for treatment, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service.
  • Assist with examinations, prepare patients for treatment, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Prepare and administer medications/immunizations as directed by the provider.
  • Communicate significant changes in patient conditions or behavior to clinicians and physicians.
  • Ensure all medical records/patient charts contain necessary documentation for medical appointments.
  • Gather data for general information, special reports, and contacting other employees, departments, agencies, and individuals for additional material.
  • Prepare reports for provider approval.

What We're Looking For:
  • Medical Assistant Certification (must maintain active and in good standing throughout employment) and a minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience; OR must have at least one of the following and a minimum of 5 years of Medical Assistant experience:
    • Proof of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
    • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
    • Nursing Degree (e.g., ASN or BSN).
    • American Heart Association BLS - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment.
  • High School education or equivalent preferred.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish highly preferred.
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Excellent patient management, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and strong time management skills.
  • Able to float to various Primary Care Centers while maintaining the delivery of clinical excellence and high-quality service.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
