Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team. As a Patient Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care, including routine patient care duties, clerical tasks, and supply management. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform routine patient care duties, including vital sign checks, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with clerical tasks, such as charting, data entry, and communication with patients and families.
- Manage supplies and equipment, ensuring that our units are well-stocked and organized.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to perform routine patient care activities under the direction of licensed nursing personnel.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and handle stress crisis situations effectively.
