Job Title: Rural Mail Carrier

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Rural Mail Carrier. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers along a prescribed rural route.

  • You will be responsible for casing, delivering, and collecting mail using a vehicle.
  • Provide excellent customer service by offering various services, such as package delivery and pickup.
  • Sort mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route.
  • Loading mail into your vehicle.
  • Deliver mail to customers along a prescribed route on a regular schedule.
  • Collect monies and receive accountable mail.
  • Pick up mail from roadside boxes.
  • Returns undeliverable mail and submits monies and receipts to the post office.
  • Maintain records of change of address information and prepare mail for forwarding.
  • Prepare daily trip reports and maintain lists of customers on the route.
  • Conduct special surveys when required.

Compensation: $42,000 - $65,000 per year (dependent on location and experience)
