Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images that contribute to the efficient operation of our department and ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Computed Tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the department to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Provide service to patients of all ages, from neonate to older adult, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
  • Meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check.
  • Hold a High School diploma or equivalent and a formal program of study accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiology Technology.
  • Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (RT) and hold additional American Registry of Radiologic Technology in CT (R,CT) certification.
  • Hold CPR certification and re-certification through the American Heart Association on a bi-annual basis.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a formal program of study accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiology Technology.
  • Minimum of 1 year as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (RT).
  • Additional American Registry of Radiologic Technology in CT (R,CT) certification preferred.
  • CPR certification and re-certification through the American Heart Association on a bi-annual basis.
