Sheet Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Technician to join our team at New Castle Building Products. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for operating computerized metal folding and shearing machinery, fabricating light gauge architectural sheet metal components, and training junior staff members.

• Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment to manufacture products for sale
• Work on various machinery in accordance with the daily work load
• Unload incoming deliveries utilizing a forklift truck
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and warehouse at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Prior experience operating computerized metal folding and shearing machinery
• Mechanically inclined individual with a passion for equipment and product
• Superior customer service skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Experience in the architectural, construction, or design industry
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
• Forklift certification is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player with a sense of urgency and flexibility
