About the Role
The Judicial Assistant provides critical support to the court, handling specialized clerical and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage case-flow functions across the full case-cycle, including docket entry, filing, and scheduling events.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and assisting with forms, kiosks, and court appearances.
- Collect fines and fees according to established procedure and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent required; college training may be substituted for work experience.
- Two years of clerical, secretarial, or data entry experience preferred, with prior experience in a legal setting an asset.
