The Bingo Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily functions and providing direct oversight of activities within the Bingo department. This position is responsible for ensuring that all operations align with guest expectations and maintaining a high standard of service. The supervisor will effectively address and resolve any escalated issues that may arise within the department, ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the training, development, performance evaluation, and scheduling of department personnel as needed.
  • Generate closing, summary, session, and 24-hour activity reports to track departmental performance.
  • Process game payouts and manage void payout receipts promptly.
  • Conduct counts and provide sign-off on the main bank.
  • Update ace ball amounts and advance the system for the next session as required.
  • Oversee sidework and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and support fellow employees in a timely manner.
  • Fulfill the duties of a Bingo Attendant when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant gaming regulations, internal controls, policies, and federal guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, ideally within a Bingo environment.
  • Prior experience in cash handling is essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead small groups and engage with individuals effectively.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Familiarity with Title 31 regulations is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary work cards as mandated by the company.
  • Verification of the right to work in the United States is required.

Work Environment:

  • Indoor setting.
  • May encounter smoky and noisy conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally push, pull, lift, and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • May require bending, reaching, twisting, and sitting.
  • Frequent standing and communication via radio and paging systems.
  • Constant walking and the ability to distinguish between shades of color, along with the use of vision and hearing.
