About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our Apple Watch team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and bug-free nature of our iOS and watchOS releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and expand automated UI testing for watchOS
  • Drive testing capabilities for all Apple operating systems
  • Triage results to identify software bugs
  • Develop test strategies, including writing test plans, test cases, custom tools, and testing architectures
  • Investigate, debug, and triage difficult problems independently and cooperatively
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Swift, and Bash
  • Experience with Git and codebase management
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with test methodologies
  • Strong passion for quality assurance in software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for user-focused design and high-quality products
  • Experience developing UI automation, preferably in Apple frameworks such as XCTest
