Precision Machining Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Scottsville, KY. This is a 2nd Shift role that involves operating automated CNC punch/shear machines, loading devices, and picking/stacking robots.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently for extended periods. They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high noise levels and occasional exposure to chemicals, fumes, or airborne debris.

As a CNC Operator at Halton Company, you will be responsible for:

• Loading XML programs supplied by the Programming department into machine interfaces
• Maintaining good housekeeping in the work area and following shop safety rules
• Loading material into and using the Fast Loading System for material management
• Utilizing picking stacking robots and controls
• Operating forklifts to load and unload machine cassettes
• Maintaining punch tooling sharpness using sharpening systems

• Ability to safely and successfully perform all essential job functions
• Ability to meet and maintain qualitative and quantitative productivity standards
• Compliance with all personnel policies and practices
• On-the-job training, certification in operation of heavy equipment, and regular re-certification
• Strong communication skills and ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions in English

The physical demands of this role include:

• Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, grip, and feel
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, carrying, and twisting/turning
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 80 lbs.

You will work in a heated and cooled work area with possible welding flash, high noise levels, and segmental vibration. We provide vision protection and ear protection as needed.
