We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Trust Point Inc. in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will have a strong background in litigation and trial experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform legal research and draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents.
- Assist in the preparation and management of trial documents, including exhibits and witness files.
- Coordinate and manage case documents, including organization, substantive review, and identification of privileged and confidential information.
- Prepare and file pleadings and discovery documents in federal, state courts, and government agencies.
- Provide support to attorneys and paralegals on litigation matters, including research, drafting, and editing.
- Supervise junior-level paralegals and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including time records and billing information.
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program.
- At least 13 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in an AmLaw 100 firm.
- Trial experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal rules, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
