Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at SpringHill Suites. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and exciting atmosphere for our guests.

As a Bartender, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for mixology by crafting unique and delicious cocktails. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest feels valued and appreciated.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Take orders and serve bar bites prepared by our culinary team.
  • Monitor and manage alcohol sales and consumption, ensuring compliance with NC Liquor Laws.
  • Perform heavy lifting, such as carrying beer kegs and cases.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including preparation and other assigned areas.
  • Balance shift reports and cash drawer, process credit card payments.
  • Provide general guest information and answer questions about the property, park, and local area.
  • Participate in pre and post-shift clean up.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Take initiative and maintain our company's reputation for safety, service, courtesy, cleanliness, and integrity.
  • Ability to learn our POS system.
  • Work collaboratively in a team setting and independently.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check if 18 years of age or older, which may include but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references per company policy unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
