Hildebrand is a leading organization in providing housing services to families experiencing homelessness in greater Boston. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Assistant to join our team on a weekend shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a clean, harmonious, and welcoming living environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of families in residence.
- Ensure each family has a safe, clean, and adequately furnished room.
- Oversee the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, conducting regular checks and maintaining the office area.
- Monitor and enforce community living rules, policies, and procedures.
- Support the Residential Manager and Case Manager in developing and implementing re-housing plans to assist families in achieving independence and self-sufficiency.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and other activities to stay up-to-date on program functions and required skills.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in Human Services or Residential Program settings.
- Ability to work well with clients, family members, and colleagues, ensuring client confidentiality and professionalism.
- CPR/SFA Certification within 30 days of hire.
- Bilingual Haitian Creole or Spanish preferred.
Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 3:30pm-11:30pm, 16 hours per week.
