Role Summary:
This role involves reporting to the Practice Coordinator and is essential for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care provided to each patient in the Emergency Department. The nurse will supervise, coordinate, and guide the activities of nursing staff while ensuring adherence to the department's philosophy, goals, and standards of care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans for assigned patients.
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
- A valid American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year of experience in emergency, telemetry, or critical care settings is necessary.
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification is mandatory.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
- Completion of training for the care of behavioral health/aggressive-combative patients is required within three months of hire and annually thereafter.
Pay Range: $64.14
Note: Rate may be adjusted based on career ladder placement.
