About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Martinsville Health & Rehab Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and report changes in residents' conditions, including adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
  • Administer prescribed medications and start intravenous fluids, documenting times and amounts on patients' charts.
  • Provide basic resident care and treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, and treating bedsores.
  • Collect samples from residents and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.
  • Evaluate nursing intervention outcomes and confer with other healthcare team members as necessary.
