Key Responsibilities- Observe and report changes in residents' conditions, including adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
- Administer prescribed medications and start intravenous fluids, documenting times and amounts on patients' charts.
- Provide basic resident care and treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, and treating bedsores.
- Collect samples from residents and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.
- Evaluate nursing intervention outcomes and confer with other healthcare team members as necessary.
