Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular ICU, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed and that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, ensuring that all members of the healthcare team are informed and up-to-date on patient status.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed and that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed and that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed and that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
