Job Summary

This is a skilled manufacturing position responsible for supporting the welding department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual and CNC tube bending machines, performing bending operations, and inspecting finished parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual and CNC tube bending machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Perform bending operations of different sizes of electro-polished stainless-steel tubing.
  • Inspect finished parts using various measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Read blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
  • Measure and mark materials according to cut lengths from Bills of Materials.
  • Start and observe the cold saw to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance cutting.
  • Read and interpret Bills of Materials and other documents to ensure accurate production.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
  • Take direction from supervisors and follow established work procedures.
  • Meet production schedules and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience with basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
  • Proficiency with shop hand tools and computer skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and build according to print.
  • Good organizational skills and knowledge of equipment operation and safety.
  • Ability to make precise adjustments quickly and repeatedly.
  • Semiconductor experience is a plus.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers.
  • Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.
  • Ability to sit for sustained periods of time.
  • The ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods may be required.
Work Environment

This job requires an employee to be exposed to a typical production and office environment throughout the day.
