Position Overview

As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes while adhering to established recipes and quality standards. Your role will include:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
2. Wash and peel fresh produce, ensuring cleanliness and quality.
3. Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
4. Cook and present food according to established guidelines and presentation standards.
5. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
6. Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring all kitchen areas are sanitized.
8. Serve food in appropriate portions and receptacles.
9. Adhere to all safety and security policies, reporting any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions to management.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a culinary role.

Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Work Environment:
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is required.
