Position Overview:

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard, maintain, and enhance the value of our community while optimizing the living experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all operations in alignment with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain the facility and grounds in accordance with community goals.
  • Ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, including after-hours emergencies.
  • Assist in inspecting public areas and resident units to uphold maintenance standards.
  • Adhere to all record-keeping requirements for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Follow health and safety protocols for pools and spas to maintain water quality.
  • Secure tools and equipment in designated storage areas.
  • Participate in training programs as necessary.
  • Perform repairs or replacements on various building components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair appliances, electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves physical activity, including standing, bending, lifting, and climbing. A strong understanding of OSHA guidelines is essential to ensure safety for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance roles.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance processes and tools.
  • Preferred certifications: CAMT, boiler license, EPA, CPO, electrical, plumbing, first aid, etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair various community systems.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred.
