Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation services team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide occupational therapy services to acute care patients, helping them return to productive lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to acute care patients under the direction of an occupational therapist.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Deliver occupational therapy services in an acute care or rehab setting, focusing on cognitive retraining, motor function, and exercise.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment (Idaho or Oregon).
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network.
  • Previous experience in cognitive retraining, facilitation of motor function, exercise in patient care, and delivery of occupational therapy services in an acute care or rehab setting preferred.
