Pharmacist - Cannabis Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at AYR Wellness. As a Cannabis Expert, you will play a critical role in providing patient consultations and serving as a subject matter expert on cannabis pharmacological knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct individual patient consultations to determine the best therapy in conjunction with physician recommendations.
- Verify patient certifications for medication through the PA Department of Health website.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and directives of the PA Medical Marijuana Program.
- Protect patient rights by adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining confidentiality of medical and financial information.
- Remain up-to-date with company research on the palliative and curative potential of cannabis and its constituent cannabinoid chemicals.
- Current Pennsylvania residence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Clinical or research experience a plus.
- Excellent customer/patient service skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members, and the public.
- State licensure to practice pharmacy is required.
- BS Pharm degree minimum required (Doctorate/Pharm.D. preferred).
