Role Purpose
As a Lead Radiologic Technologist, you will engage in a team-oriented setting to provide exceptional patient care within a clinical environment. Radiologic Technologists conduct medical imaging examinations utilizing X-ray technology to capture images of specific anatomical regions. These images are subsequently analyzed by physicians for diagnostic and disease management purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently generates high-quality images through appropriate exposure settings and positioning techniques. Images should clearly display two visible borders of coning.
- Completes all assigned tasks efficiently to ensure smooth patient flow alongside fellow technologists.
- Assists the supervisor or designated personnel in effectively coordinating procedures. Notifies the supervisor upon completion or pending cases and accurately logs in and out of the department.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program is mandatory.
- Mammography certification is essential for technologists operating in specialized women's health settings.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
- Florida CRT License is mandatory.
- ARRT certification is required.
- BLS certification is essential.
