Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator for our operations. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and organize steel coils, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Prepare and stack trays or boxes on pallets for wrapping and shipping.
  • Safely operate machinery, including punch presses, as required.
  • Utilize industrial trucks or electric hoists for material handling.
  • Monitor coil performance during initial production runs.
  • Perform routine checks on machinery, ensuring proper oil and coolant levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and rejected materials.
  • Assist in inventory management of both finished goods and raw materials.
  • Lift heavy items using appropriate equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience operating sit-down forklifts in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in a production environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Basic math skills are necessary.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
