Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan with employer match, generous paid time off, holidays, well-being and sick leave, extended absence leave, continuing education and tuition reimbursement, and occurrence malpractice coverage.

Job Description

Gastroenterology Career Opportunities

As an Advanced Practice Provider Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for performing history and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans for patients with various gastrointestinal and liver disorders. You will also provide education and counseling to patients and families on disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications. Furthermore, you will participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and professional development activities, and communicate effectively and coordinate care with two physicians and other members of the health care team.

Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
  • Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in gastroenterology or a related field - preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Location

The primary work location is Danville, IL, and you may be required to travel to different locations within the region as needed.
