Housekeeper/Caretaker

Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper/Caretaker to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of our laying hens.

• Ensure the humane treatment and care of laying hens.
• Remove dead birds from all cages and systems.
• Walk up and down all rows to fix egg blockages and maintain egg production.
• Replace burnt-out light bulbs and maintain equipment.
• Keep feeders and waterers in good condition and clean egg transfers.
• Blow off egg collectors and sweep walkways to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Catch loose birds and perform other duties as assigned.

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
