Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Stocker - Freezer to join our team. As a key member of our stockroom and freezer team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking products on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers

• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves

• Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment

• Performs proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures compliance with all safety protocols

• Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages

• Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing

• Maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath

• Continuously reviews the status of department floors for safety hazards and promptly and safely handles any spills and removes any trash

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures

• Ability to frequently push/pull objects 500 to 1,500 lbs and lift/carry objects more than 60 lbs

• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
