- Product Preparation: Slice, cut, prepare, weigh, and package products according to established standards and quality goals, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other associates to achieve productivity standards, develop product knowledge, and assist in training new associates.
- Quality and Safety: Adhere to highest product quality standards, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and report any safety concerns to management.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience in a deli, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Physical Requirements: Meet volume activity standards established for the department, frequent bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting produce items at or above waist level, and tolerate working in hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
