Overview:

The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the community's living environments. This position involves managing laundry services for residents and maintaining an adequate supply of clean linens across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks, including making beds, changing linens, organizing clothing, and sanitizing living spaces.
• Oversee laundry operations, which include washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens for both the community and residents' personal items.
• Maintain the cleanliness of shared areas by performing tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Restock housekeeping supplies on the cart after each shift to ensure readiness for the next day.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and established operational protocols.
• Keep track of housekeeping and laundry supply inventory, communicating any needs to the supervisor.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff members while fostering positive interactions with residents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One to three months of relevant experience or training is desirable.
