At Sevita, we believe that every person deserves to live a full, independent life. As a Caregiver for our Adult Day Program, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve their goals and live their best lives.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, helping them with daily living tasks and promoting their independence
  • Develop meaningful relationships with the people you serve, understanding their unique needs and preferences
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create personalized care plans that meet the needs of each individual
  • Assist with daily activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and exercise
  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs, using positive reinforcement techniques and de-escalation strategies

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and adaptability skills
  • A patient, compassionate, and reliable approach to working with individuals with disabilities
  • A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
